This Mexican incense is made of pure copal resin (Bursera sp.). There are no chemical additives or fragrance oils. Each stick burns with a beautiful fragrance and last approximately 1 hour. Copal, a close relative to frankincense, is traditionally used by indigenous people in Mexico and Guatemala in religious and magical ceremonies, as an offering to the gods, and as a purifying smoke for the place in which it is burned. Copal may be used as smudge for clearing energies in homes.

Maya Sipes in my opinion copal is the best purifier and one of the best offerings to make... i would take something like this as an offering on a high mountain hike for the land spirits
