Kurjey (The Body Imprint) Bhutanese incense by Bhutan Jewel Incense House, is a very special and rare incense made from the Sacred holy waters of Kurjey Drupchu in Bumthang, Bhutan. Kurjey is the temple where Guru Rinpoche subdued demons and meditated in a cave. Behind the temple there is a Cypress tree which is believed to have grown out from the walking stick of Guru Rinpoche. Above KURJEY Lhakhang is the KURJEY Drup-Chu (Sacred water) which has Healing Power and visitors to this drup-chu take this sacred water as a gift back home. "The sacred water dates back more than a millennium ago when Guru Rinpoche visited Bhutan in the 8th century. Legend has it that Guru Rinpoche created the Drupchhu to cure the ailing Sindhu Raja, who invited him to Bhutan. Sindhu Raja, who was then ruling the valley was possessed by a local deity called Shelging Karpo. The king’s daughter, Monmo Tashi Kheudon first offered the water to the king who was then relieved of his illness."(from https://www.bayuel.com/attractions/kurje-drupchhu).
