Our beautiful set of 13"x13" Kalachakra prayer flags, featuring shimmering, vibrant five color payer flags imprinted with the Kalachakra prayers and 10 fold seed syllable.

In the center of the flag is The Kalachakra 10-fold seed syllable a powerful mantra in the Kalachakra Tantra. It consists of 10 syllables arranged in a specific pattern, with each syllable representing a different aspect of enlightenment. The syllables are arranged in two concentric circles, with the outer circle representing the universe and the inner circle representing the individual.

Kalachakra is a Sanskrit term that means "Wheel of Time" or "Time-Cycle". In Buddhism, it refers to a complex and advanced system of teachings and practices that includes meditation, astrology, and cosmology.

At its core, the Kalachakra teachings emphasize the interdependence of time, space, and mind. The practice of Kalachakra meditation involves visualization of the Kalachakra mandala, which represents the entire universe, as well as recitation of mantras and other ritual practices. The goal of the practice is to purify the mind and achieve enlightenment.

The Kalachakra system also includes a complex system of astrology and cosmology, which is used to understand the cycles of time and the movement of the planets and stars. The Kalachakra astrological system is based on the lunar calendar, and it is used to determine auspicious times for important events such as initiations, empowerments, and other ceremonies.
