These unique copal incense logs are all natural and made of copal resin. They light easily and are a convenient way to burn copal resin without needing to light a coal. Copal, a close relative to frankincense, is traditionally used by indigenous people in Mexico and Guatemala in religious and magical ceremonies, as an offering to the gods, and as a purifying smoke for the place in which it is burned. Copal may be used as smudge for clearing energies in homes.

Note: While we take great care to pack the logs in each tin, they are slightly fragile and some breakage may occur in shipment. As can be seen in the video, breaking off a smaller piece works well in a burner so you may want to break them anyway if you want to burn for a shorter period of time.
