He is often depicted holding a vase containing the elixir of immortality, which he offers to those seeking his blessings.
Amitayus is one of the Three Long Life Deities in Tibetan Buddhism, along with White Tara and Ushnishavijaya. Represented in red, he is associated with the fire element, which symbolizes transformation and purification.
