This glass sphere has been laser etched inside with the prayers circling the yantra for blessing water. This prayer was discovered by the great Terton Rinchen Lingpa in Tibet. It is said that the placement of these prayers and yantra into water such as rivers, springs, and oceans will bless the spirits of the water (nagas) as well as other beings living in and drinking the water.
The translation of the prayer into English is as follows:
By immersing this water mantra into the depths,
all the living beings dwelling in that water,
and all the male and female beings who drink it,
will attain buddhahood in a single lifetime and with a single body.
Even those with the five heinous crimes,
who are bound for the lower realms,
will attain buddhahood within seven lifetimes.
This is the infallible command of the Lotus-Born.
May the fortunate ones of future generations practice it.
